Channel puts the customer at the heart of its business and we aim to deliver a superior claims service through the use of specialist resources and expertise.


The claims philosophy at The Channel Syndicate is to pay all valid claims promptly by providing an efficient and effective claims service to clients and brokers, ensuring that all claims are recognised, assessed and settled in a timely manner within the terms of the insurance contract. We achieve this by deploying the right resource at the right time. We operate a segmented model that is scalable to support future needs and the planned expansion of the syndicate. Claims handling is provided both by specialist claims handlers and selected third-party experts.

The Channel Syndicate operates in accordance with the Lloyd’s Claims Principles and Minimum Standards and other market protocols. We believe in treating our customers fairly at all times.
